Each of our self-catering cottages has been thoughtfully restored. Wooden floors, deep baths, fireplaces that actually work, and big windows that frame the farm beyond. They are the kind of rooms that make you want to put the kettle on, pull a book off the shelf, and stay an extra night.
Reedbuck and Duiker sleep four, perfect for families or two couples sharing. Heron, Eagle, Ankole, Nguni, Ibis, and Crane are intimate two-sleepers, ideal for a quiet weekend away. Each cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, private bathroom, and outdoor space, whether that is a small stoep, a patch of garden, or a view of the dam.
The cottages sit a short walk from the lodge and the cafe, but far enough apart that you keep your own pocket of quiet. Wifi reaches every door, the cattle wander past in the late afternoon, and the night sky is the kind you forget exists when you live in a city.
Bring a friend, bring a dog (some cottages welcome them), bring nothing but a bag and a willingness to do less than usual.
