Blueberry Brewery Beers
All the Blueberry Brewery beers are unfiltered, unpasteurised beers that preserve the natural goodness of imported German malts and hops grown in America, Australia, Czechia, Germany, New Zealand and South Africa. The unfiltered beers range from near clear lagers to deliberately cloudy wheat beers.
Standard beer range, our year-round selection
Blueberry Lager (5.0% abv)
A clean, malt forward, German lager with a soft dry finish. This beer style was created in Munich in 1894 at the Spaten brewery and rapidly became the most popular lager in Southern Germany that competes with the bitter, pale Pilsner-type beers. German Saphir and American Citra hops provide a blend of spicy, fruity and floral notes that balance a smooth, malt-sweet flavour. Our beer is lagered at 0.5°C for at least 6 weeks before serving.
Blueberry Golden Ale (5.3% abv)
A classic British Golden Ale that is a light, crisp and hoppy beer. There are strong citrus and floral hop notes without any caramel sweetness. With low bitterness (20 IBUs) and a dry finish, the beer has some body and a rounded mouthfeel.
Blueberry Irish Red Ale (4.8% abv)
A low bitterness, easy-drinking typical Irish session ale. A blend of toasted malts provide notes of caramel with a hint of a toffee aftertaste. You may detect subtle flowery, spicy, tropical and citrus-like flavours contributed by Amarillo hops. This beer style was adapted from classic English bitters and is said to have been first brewed by John Smithwick in 1710 at his brewery in Kilkenny, Ireland. Kilkenny Irish Ale is brewed to this day.
Blueberry Coffee Porter (4.7% abv)
A Belgian-styled porter with big roasted malt flavours that provide a strong coffee aftertaste with a hint of chocolate. You may also experience slightly tart dark fruits and roasted hazelnut.
St Jasmin Tripel (8.6% abv)
A Belgian Trappist Monastery styled barley wine with a pale gold colour, light body and dangerous drinkability. The abbey yeast contributes fruity notes (pear and citrus), with a hint of candied figs, to a complex taste profile.
